Learning Journey - Spring 2

Why Didn't I Think of That?


This term we are learning all about Scientists and Inventors such as David Attenborough and Eva Crane. We will also be taking part in Science week (13th - 17th March).


In Literacy we are using a text called The Ice Bear by Jackie Morris.


In Mathematics we are learning all about fractions, decimals and percentages.

This term we have been learning all about Ancient Greeks.

The Greeks had many gods and goddesses not just one.

There were many diffrent gods including Athena,Zeus,Hera and Hades.

Not every Greek belief is a god or goddess some were terryfing monsters,evil kings and more...cheeky 

We did many diffrent activites such as making theatre masks. We enjoyed doing the activity because we could teach others how to make them and do a lot of

We like the story of Theseus and the Minotaur and the story of Perseus and  Medusa.

We read lots of ancient greek fact books.We have learnt lots such as the fact that King Aegeus jumped of a cliff because he thought his son had died.The sea where King Aegeus jumped off the cliff and now that sea is the Aegean sea.

Our Learning Journey this term is Houston, We Have a Problem! and is all about Earth and Space.

In September we visited the National Space Museum in Leicester and learned lots of amazing facts about our incredible universe.
