Learning Champion: Noemi for great quality learning in English and Maths.

Jigsaw Genius: Sajeda for knowing how to stay healthy and have a great discussion during jigsaw.

This week, we have learned about bending and molding wire to create a structure for Art. We bent our chicken wire into a base structure and used MOD-ROC strips to help create an igloo. Here are some pictures of us having fun doing this!

This term we have been learning the different skills and techniques in sewing! We have learned how to back stitch and cross stitch and have applied our new found skills to create a final outcome! We are really proud of our Aurora Borealis sewing!

This half term in science, the children selected different materials based on their properties to design and build their own water thermos, as if they were Arctic explorers and needed to keep their water warmer, for longer in the Arctic environment! The children used their investigation to link back to their predictions, creating a written follow up of what they identified and why.

Our trip to the Institute of Sport! We went to the Institute of Sport to develop our team-working skills and to experience what it was like to run around an Olympic level track! We really enjoyed ourselves!
