Acres Hill Community Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, which can be viewed in the 'policies' section of our website or by request to the school office.
Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with his/her/their parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child's welfare.
Safeguarding Team at Acres Hill
In addition to our bespoke Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, Acres Hill Community Primary School adheres to Working Together 2023 which makes it clear that education settings must comply with its requirements, with the current version of Keeping Children Safe in Education and with any additional requirements placed on them by their local safeguarding partnership.
Acres Hill Community Primary School complies with the Sheffield Children Safeguarding Partnership (SCSP) requirements. Their website, core offer, guidance and expectations are available via the link below.
