School Uniform

Wearing school uniform brings a sense of pride, togetherness and belonging to Acres Hill Community Primary School.

All children are expected to wear uniform from when they start school in F2 (Reception). Pupils are expected to wear either unbranded uniform or branded uniform (school clothes with a school logo) in the school colours.  

We know that uniform can be an additional cost to families. With this in mind, we ensure that our uniform is simple and easily available to purchase from most big supermarkets, families do not need to purchase branded uniform although there is an option to do so (see below for link).  

Our School uniform:

Light blue polo shirt

Navy blue jumper or cardigan

Dark trousers, shorts or skirts

Shoes - sensible, dark coloured shoes

Our PE uniform:

White t-shirt

Dark shorts/leggings

Trainers

If your child comes to school out of uniform, they will provided with a spare school sweatshirt to wear for the day.  

Branded (logo) uniform:

Children do not need to wear branded uniform (clothing with a school logo). If families wish to buy branded uniform, please contact Logo leisurewear on Tel (0114) 2511171 or at their website https://logoleisurewear.com/?s=acres+hill&post_type=product, or alternatively come into school and speak with a member of our Office Team who will be happy to help you.  

Nearly New Uniform Shop & Uniform donations

Every month, school opens it's Nearly New Uniform Shop to families.  Families are able to buy nearly new uniform for their children for a small cost (see prices below).  Details of dates and times are shared with families on Class Dojo, newsletters and flyers.  If sourcing uniform is an urgent matter, families can visit our Office Staff who will be able to access stock for them in the same week.

Uniform donations - families are welcome to donate uniform and clothing (coats, hats, gloves etc) that no longer fit to the Nearly New Uniform Shop.  Donated uniform is processed and cleaned before being available in the Nearly New Uniform Shop for families to buy.  Please bring any donations to the School Office.
