Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We are saddened by the death of Her Majesty the Queen and join the nation in mourning. We are thankful for the Queen's dedicated and loyal service to the country.
"And when peace comes, remember it will be for us, the children of today, to make the world of tomorrow a better and happier place."
Princess Elizabeth, (14 years old), from her broadcast to the children of the commonwealth in October 1940
We have rising COVID cases in school. Please look for any symptoms in your family. We recommend regular lateral flow tests. Thank you
I am sure that you will all have heard in the news that schools will be able to open fully to all children from Monday 8th March. We are really excited and can’t wait to have everyone back at Acres Hill! School will be running in a very similar way to how it was organised during the Autumn term, including class bubbles, lots of handwashing and staggered start/finish times. We will be in touch next week with reminders of the details and know you will support us by following the rules to keep everyone safe.
Enjoy the spring sunshine – a reminder that everything is getting better.
